adapted from my Cuisinart ice cream maker hand book
1 cup whole milk
2/3 cup cane sugar
2 cups heavy cream
1-2 t vanilla extract, to taste
Whisk the eggs, milk, and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Stir in the cream and vanilla. Freeze according to your ice cream maker’s instructions. We like to eat it immediately, soft serve style, but you could put it in the freezer for an hour or so if you like yours a bit more set up.
Yield: 5-6 cups
