We had a surplus of food at our family get together today so I got to bring home some leftovers which we’ll have to eat this week. Yum!
When my aunt and uncle get by a certain local mushroom grower, they pick up boxes for everyone in the family who wants one. So now I have 3 pounds of mushrooms in the fridge which will need consumed or frozen in the next week. I am always very excited about that. Yay for local food!
Monday: Shepherds’ Pie (using leftovers from family get together), Pickles
Wednesday: Confetti Casserole (Country Cooking by Good’s Mennonite Church p.28)
Friday: Beirrocks, Sweet Potato Oven Fries
Saturday: Orange Beef Stir Fry with Sugar Peas, Rice
Sunday: Beef Veggie Soup
Desserts: Leftover Rice Pudding (from family get together), Creme Brulee (didn’t end up making it last week), Apricot Pie
