I’m tired of corn, cucumbers, and green beans. I realize this is a good problem to have.
I’m really lacking dessert inspiration lately. I’ve been putting sweets here on my menu but haven’t made much. I guess this is a good problem to have, too.
Really, I’m very thankful for this time of year. I’m so lucky to have so much to do in my garden and that I have the bounty to eat!
And last week, due to that bounty, I hardly cooked from my menu. So, I’ll put some repeats in here this week and see if I end up making them. I suppose this is becoming sort of the norm for me at this time of year. I still like to type up these menus, though, as it gives me peace of mind to know that there is something I have the ingredients for and I don’t have to wrack my brain for ideas at 5:00 in the afternoon, also known by my cousin as “arsenic hour“.
